The ideal candidate will have expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This role requires experience with version control tools (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bamboo). A solid understanding of SQL and SOQL/SOSL for data manipulation and querying will also be essential. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to work on complex Salesforce projects using modern development practices. **Key Responsibilities:** • Salesforce Development: Design, develop, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, and Visualforce. • Build scalable and reusable components that meet business needs. • Implement complex business rules using Apex and JavaScript. • Enhance and create Visualforce pages for custom user interfaces. • Develop and maintain high-performance Lightning Web Components (LWC). • Front-End Development: Utilize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to enhance the UI/UX of Salesforce applications. • Ensure responsive and optimized designs across all devices. • Version Control & CI/CD: Use Git to manage code versions and collaborate effectively. • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Bamboo. • Work with DevOps teams to improve build processes and deployments. • Database Management & SQL: Write SOQL and SOSL queries to efficiently retrieve and manipulate data within Salesforce. • Utilize SQL to manage data integration and migrations with external systems. • Ensure data integrity and implement appropriate data migration strategies. • Collaboration & Best Practices: Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Follow Salesforce development best practices, testing, and deployment protocols. • Participate in code reviews and maintain high-quality development standards. • Ensure all development work meets security and compliance standards. Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications. 1. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems. 2. He/she is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance. 3. His/her work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers. 4. The software engineer builds skills and expertise of his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities. 5. The software engineer collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders. **Required Skills:** • Strong proficiency in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Salesforce Platform development. • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. • Proficient in SOQL and SOSL for querying and manipulating Salesforce data. • Familiarity with version control using Git and experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Bamboo. • Solid understanding of SQL for database management and integration. • Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum development environment. • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills. **Preferred Qualifications:** • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, App Builder). • Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST or SOAP APIs. • Familiarity with tools like Copado, Salesforce DX, or JIRA for project management. • Exposure to Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Salesforce Service Cloud. **Life at Capgemini:** Capgemini supports all aspects of your well-being throughout the changing stages of your life and career.
