Job Summary:
The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing standard configuration with design in mind. The developer will also develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform when necessary. This position should have strong technical skills and be able to describe solution options to the technical leads and architects working on the project. This role involves collaborating with various departments to understand their needs and translating those requirements into technical solutions. The developer will also be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing Salesforce applications and ensuring their seamless integration with other systems. Candidate will need to be fluent in Portuguese and English to support our global organization (Spanish is a plus).
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, implement and maintain standard and customized Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance
Define solution limitations and requirements and work with Architects to ensure all systems integrate into the solution’s technology stack
Communicate the solution context and intent and align development stakeholders on the technical direction
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems using APIs and middleware
Perform data migrations and ensure data integrity within the Salesforce platform
Work with business stakeholders and IT to transition from WordPress and other CMSs to Salesforce
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications and integrations
Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, processes, user guides, and release notes
Stay up-to-date with Salesforce best practices, new features, and industry trends
Develop and implement maintenance procedures, monitor systems health, gather system statistics, and troubleshoot reported errors and alarms
Qualifications:
Fluent in Portuguese (Brazil) and English to cover global needs
Associates degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Salesforce implementation for a large organization with specific focus on the Manufacturing, Sales, Experience, Marketing and Service cloud
4+ years of experience working with information technologies and systems analysis
WordPress Experience to adapt similar functionality to Salesforce sites
Salesforce Developer certification (e.g., Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II) is preferred
Proven experience in Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and Salesforce APIs
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model
Strong knowledge of business processes, and how data and software applications support those processes
Experience with integration tools and middleware as it relates to Salesforce with other systems
Proficiency in web development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON) and frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) is a plus
Strong understanding and knowledge of the principles and practices associated with packaged and/or SaaS applications
Knowledge of agile methodologies and frameworks such as Kanban preferred
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong proficiency in estimation and planning
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Work Environment:
The role may involve working outside of regular business hours to meet project deadlines or address critical issues
