What You'll DoThe Senior Salesforce Developer develops enterprise-level application and custom integration solutions, including significant enhancements, interfaces, functions, and features. You will produce and define system scope and goals through research and fact-finding to develop Salesforce application functionality and data integrations with Peoplesoft, DART, CollegeNet, and other third-party applications. You will conduct systems programming and support activities such as new or revised segments of language codes or processing. You will also prepare detailed specifications for which programs will be written and develop conversion and system implementation plans. You will design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain those programs. You will report to the Director of Application Services.

Develop and test Salesforce applications with technical and business teams.Prepare project analysis reports, including functional scope documents, data flow charts, user interface wireframes, and quality assurance test plans.Create and coordinate the interfaces between major systems and programs using RDA requests, API methods, and ETL tools.Support integrations between Salesforce and external systems (e.g., Peoplesoft, CollegeNET, and DART).Develop and monitor Salesforce ETL processes and data flows for quality and integrity.Design and modify Apex code, including both code modules and test classes.Customize Salesforce objects, fields, Apex code, VisualForce pages, Lightning components, Flows, and triggers.Work with the Senior Salesforce Technical Lead to structure data integrity, data quality, and Salesforce administrative tasks for student temporary workers.Manage the development and deliverables of complex projects, including timelines, delivery schedules, installation support, and end-user trainingFollow DevOps best practices using Jira, Slack, Github, and internal processes.Support Released Applications (30%)
Work with Ross IT Salesforce team to update data workflows and integrations in Salesforce and Flatbridge.Troubleshoot and resolve software issues.Help with system infrastructure and technology upgrades.Manage Salesforce SysAid queue tickets and tasksOversee QA testing of departmental applications with end usersTraining and Skills Development (10%)
Pursue professional growth by participating in training/learning opportunitiesShare expertise by mentoring and supporting colleagues in developing their skills.Required Qualifications*Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a combination of a degree and equivalent experience.4+ years of experience in a full stack object-oriented programming development environment or combination of experience and trainingExperience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud, including release cycles, deployments, and custom development (Apex, Test Classes, Lightning Components, Visualforce).Proficient in data integrations and triggers using Informatica or other ETL toolsSkills in SQL and relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL), including queries, triggers, and schema management.Experience with REST/JSON APIs for data exchangeExperience handling confidential mattersContribute to a positive work community by approaching work with an open mindset, treating others with respect and in a manner where individuals feel they belong, listening, valuing feedback, and learning from the perspectives of othersModes of WorkPositions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Additional InformationSalary Information:
The posting range for this position is $85,600 to 115,550. This posting range reflects multiple factors involved in determining compensation, such as skills, experience, training, certifications, and other organizational needs. At Ross, it is not common for new hires to be offered a salary at the upper end of the range. Compensation decisions are based on the details of each situation.
