Salesforce Product Owner
Job description:

Location: Philadelphia, PA

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Salesforce implementation projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Lead requirements discovery, solution design, user story writing, and feature development in an Agile environment, ensuring the proper implementation of Salesforce capabilities.Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, executive teams, and technical teams to prioritize features and manage the Salesforce product backlog.Partner with cross-functional teams, including developers, Salesforce architects, UX/UI designers, and quality assurance teams, to ensure timely delivery of Salesforce solutions.Translate business needs into Salesforce features across various clouds (Sales, Service, Marketing, Experience, Commerce), managing the entire product lifecycle from inception through launch and continuous iteration.Conduct regular backlog grooming sessions, sprint planning, and ensure that product features are delivered according to the Agile methodology. Product Owner is the owner of the backlog.Monitor and evaluate the performance of Salesforce implementations to ensure continuous product improvements and user satisfaction.In conjunction with the Project Manager, provide regular updates to stakeholders on product status, key milestones, and risks, ensuring clear communication across teams.When in scope, evaluate, analyze, and understand the voice of the customer through a variety of data sourcesRequired Skills:5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Business SME on Salesforce implementation projects, with deep knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities.Proven experience working in Agile environments and with Agile tools like JIRA and Confluence to manage projects, sprints, and product backlogs.Experience leading at least 3 full Salesforce lifecycle implementations from strategy and design to development and deployment.Strong understanding of Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Marketing, Experience, Commerce) and their capabilities, with a solid grasp of best practices and industry-specific solutions (e.g., CPQ, Manufacturing Cloud, Health Cloud).Demonstrated ability to prioritize product features, manage stakeholder expectations, and balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Experience working on omnichannel product development, including desktop, tablet, and mobile, with a focus on Salesforce platform scalability and user experience.Data-driven mindset with a strong ability to define and track metrics/KPIs that inform product decisions and feature prioritization.Ability to manage to scope and capacity and hold prioritization discussions that sometimes require compromise.Ability to lead discussions on Salesforce architecture and collaborate with development teams on both front-end and back-end solutions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Beneficial to have prior experience working with distributed and offshore development teams.Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.Life at Capgemini
