Salesforce Solution Architect – Nonprofit Portfolio

Join our team as the expert you are now and create your future. **Position Summary** Senior Managers serve in an outward-facing, hands-on, and multi-faceted role combining project and engagement management, team leadership and material interaction with clients at both tactical and strategic levels. While activities vary based on project size/scope and individual skill-sets and strengths, the Senior Manager can expect to spend considerable time on client-facing engagements through all project phases (pursuit to delivery), project management, and intensive data analysis to implement impactful recommendations. Additionally, Senior Managers time will revolve around overall practice development, the mentorship of Coachees (when assigned), and general project/organizational administrative tasks. **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in a field related to this position or equivalent work experience + 6+ years of experience with cloud implementations in a consulting role + 2+ years of experience as a functional lead or technical specialist with Nonprofit industry experience (e.g., IT team, Fundraising, Program Management, etc.) + Strong business acumen combined with an understanding of infrastructure technologies and SaaS technologies and solutions + Experience teaching or demonstrating the impact of technology to business stakeholders; experience as a Solution/Sales Engineer or similar experience working to deliver projects using the Salesforce platform with significant exposure working directly with customers to ideate and estimate solutions + Experience with and ability to develop and grow others through effective coaching and leadership + Ability to provide industry insights and identify opportunities for value creation based on deep understanding of client (internal or external) challenges **What you will be doing:** + Lead discovery sessions with prospective clients to elaborate further on organizational goals and objectives regarding digital change/transformation + Identify and capture high-level technical requirements during sales process to scope and estimate potential engagements + Architect technical and business solutions to match client needs and create technical designs and implementation strategy for complex Salesforce products/solutions. + Serve as the Scope Owner on the opportunity team from ‘lead to close’. Activities include, but are not limited to, the following: estimate and configure resource plans and proposed timelines for projects, create RFP responses, and participate in the internal risk and deal review process. + Develop, present and deliver high impact demonstration/proof of concepts of solutions based on client’s business requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the platform, often requiring rapid prototyping and/or solution demo for a potential/existing client. + Work with external account executives to prioritize sales opportunities and maintain lead/account/opportunity updates within Salesforce.org to manage and prioritize sales opportunities + Work with external sales at Salesforce and other partners and executive leaders both inside and outside Huron to articulate the benefits of potential solutions to all client levels up to "C" level executives + Serve in a billable role as the Engagement lead and/or senior technical resource (SA/TA) for key client accounts to support the success of the current project and identify additional opportunities for growth within the account + Provide technical coaching and development to other Solution Engineers, Business Development or Delivery team members + Manage initiatives to simplify, standardize and improve accuracy for our presales and delivery process, focusing on scalability + Work with team members to solve complex problems as required + Excellent communication skills - oral and written - and the interpersonal skills needed quickly to establish relationships of trust and collaboration + The ability to contribute on multiple projects of differing scale and duration + Strong analytical skills used to translate information from meetings into documentation that can be shared with meeting participants and project teams + A desire and willingness to learn new tools, techniques, concepts, and methodologies + Stay current with Salesforce advancements and industry trends, particularly within financial services. + Contribute to the company's thought leadership by producing white papers, blogs, or speaking at industry events. + **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience working within a Salesforce Partner or consulting environment. + Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies. + Strong understanding of the Nonprofit industry and best practices around business prioritization and technology solutions. + Salesforce Admin Certification +4 or more Salesforce certification from either Administrator, Architect, Developer, Marketer or Consultant paths + Nonprofit Cloud Accredited Professional, if not currently held must achieve it within 6 weeks of start date. + Hands-on-keyboard declarative configuration experience, Apex/LWC development/architecture experience + Experience in developing Solution Design Documentation over several full-scale implementations. The estimated base salary range for this job is $145,000 - $185,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $174,000 - $222,000. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
