The Salesforce Support position is responsible for administering the cloud infrastructure at the Shingo Institute, a program in the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University.

This is a temporary, part-time, remote position. Candidates are required to live in the USA and must be a US Citizen. This will be verified before an interview is requested. The final candidate must pass a background check and sign an NDA.

Responsibilities Work with the assistant executive director to prioritize Salesforce projects that are most impactful to the InstituteMaintain and improve the Institute’s Salesforce CRM system, including:Salesforce CommunitiesCustom objects, fields, reports, and dashboardsDatabase maintenance tasks, including diagnostic tests and duplicate entry cleansingAutomations & flowsIntegration with other platformsMaintain, improve, and write standard work and documentation collaborate with Institute staff to help improve their Salesforce needsConduct regular training for staff and onboard new employeesWork with the USU IT group to maintain systems and keep up to date on University technology Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Must live in the USA and be a US citizenBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in MIS, IT, or related fieldExperience with prioritizing and managing IT projectsUnderstanding of Windows and Mac operating systems and troubleshootingIT security understandingCloud Service administrationDatabase design and management

Preferred Qualifications:

Salesforce certificationsWorking knowledge of FormAssembly and TableauExperience with WordPress

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes. The employee is regularly required to sit and often uses repetitive hand motions.
