WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE JOB:
We are seeking a highly experienced and certified Salesforce Technical Architect to join our dynamic team.
As a Salesforce Technical Architect at American Red Cross, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and other Salesforce platforms to help us advance our mission of providing Humanitarian Services. You will leverage your extensive technical expertise and experience to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our business requirements.
The work location for this exciting opportunity is virtual. The selected candidate will work 100% remotely from home and can be located anywhere in the United States with a preference to work East Coast hours.
WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities):
• Provide thought leadership in applying technology to transform our service delivery.
• Lead the technical design and architecture of Salesforce solutions, ensuring best practices and scalability.
• Develop and implement customized Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and other Salesforce technologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior developers.
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems and third-party applications using APIs and middleware.
• Ensure data security, integrity, and governance within the Salesforce environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, and proactively recommend improvements.
• Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and post-implementation support.
Scope: Individual contributor that works under limited supervision. Apply subject matter knowledge. Capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (required/minimum qualifications):
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development and architecture.
• Strong expertise in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and other Salesforce platforms.
• Expert in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce integration patterns.
• Salesforce Application Architect or similar advanced certifications (e.g., System Architect, Technical Architect) REQUIRED.
• Proven experience in leading and delivering complex Salesforce projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

PAY INFORMATION:
The starting annual salary range for this position is $150K - $170K. We do not offer an annual bonus for this role. Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. **We will review specific salary information at the time of phone screening based upon your location & experience.**This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded.BENEFITS FOR YOU:
