Sample Coordinator
Job Title: Sample CoordinatorJob Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Sample Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will review daily lab project lists, handle test samples throughout their lifecycle, maintain accurate sample tracking records, and ensure the proper disposal of obsolete materials. You will also facilitate cold chain transfers and work with a wide variety of samples, including raw materials and finished products. Your accuracy in reviewing, transcribing, and entering demographic and specimen data into our laboratory information system will be crucial. Responsibilities + Review daily lab project list with sample due dates to determine and organize daily workload + Handle test samples throughout the sample lifecycle, including receipt, storage, disposal, distribution, and shipment + Maintain sample tracking and chain of custody records in accordance with written procedures + Ensure obsolete or expired samples and materials are destroyed and disposed of according to written procedures + Facilitate cold chain transfers of samples + Handle a wide variety of samples, including raw materials and finished products + Review, transcribe, and enter demographic and specimen data into the laboratory information system with 100% accuracy Essential Skills + Proficient in sample preparation + Data entry + Labelling + Proficient in Microsoft Office + Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Environmental Science + Experience with Excel + Experience working in a GMP environment Work Environment You will work in a dynamic laboratory setting where attention to detail and accuracy are paramount. The role requires handling a variety of samples and ensuring they are managed according to strict protocols. You will be part of a rapidly growing team, with an expected 300% growth over the next three years. Dress code and specific work hours will be discussed during the interview process. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $52000.00/yr.
