The Showroom Manager manages all aspects of the Showroom including hiring and managing the support staff for all special functions. As a Manager you will present Dacor products to clients and consumers, either in a group forum or on an individual basis, conduct cooking demonstrations, and answer questions about products to clients.

Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities:  

Ensure that the showroom is properly managed and maintained to reflect the company's 
mission. 

Must be self-organized by planning and scheduling appointments and events to promote 
brand awareness. 

Determines when to update and/or upgrade the showroom with new appliances to stay 
competitive. 

Coordinate delivery of showroom appliances/exchanges/ service between vendor and 
building. 

Scheduling of classes, schedules of showroom staff 

Work with Dealers and District Sales Manager to coordinate consumer visits 

May assist or directly take sales orders 

Maintain product knowledge  

Greet, assist, and sell to customers

Generate and manage lead generation 

Maintain accurate inventory of available products 

Attend the showroom as needed (weekends and after hours to establish and maintain 
relationships) 

Organize Lunch & Learn training events for product training

Organize all events held in the showroom 

Work with vendors (Caterers, Rental, Flowers, and Décor etc.) 

Complete special projects and/or all other duties as assigned by the supervisor 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year College or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience 

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

3-5 years of experience in outside sales or a merchandiser, preferably in a related 
discipline

Must know how to prepare meals as part of the training requirement and presentations

Engaging personality and strong communication skills both written and verbal 

Able to work independently and collaboratively with teams 

Ability to manage and interpret reports and data to create action and grow the 
business 

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail 

Entrepreneurial spirit and self-starter 

Interest and knowledge in high-end luxury appliances 

Physical/Mental Demands (Essential Functions): Sitting for long periods 

Physical/Mental Demands (Non-Essential Functions): Bending, stretching, and 
reaching

Travel: Minimal travel for training or to attend business meetings
