Samsung Electronics America and 2020 Companies have partnered to hire an experienced full-time Retail Store Manager!
Samsung Stores are an interactive and fun product theater designed to treat shoppers to an immersive experience with Samsung’s products and services. At a Samsung Experience Store, we want customers to learn by experiencing Samsung products first-hand while receiving world-class service and sales experience.
As the Store Manager, you build the best direct-to-consumer retail experience. You are empathetic and composed, setting the pace and energy for all customers. You have an entrepreneurial spirit and treat each customer like they are your last. You would also be accountable for handling cash, bank deposits, and POS register processes and procedures. In addition, the Store Manager will be accountable for the store’s overall performance.

Job Description:
Drive overall store performance through effective sales floor leadership
Deliver excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
Create a clean environment and maintain visual merchandising standards
Oversee direct and indirect sales associates on all sales behaviors, promotions, and operational processes
Conduct new hire orientation and provide continuous training and development of the store team
Accountable for all Launch and Holiday preparedness
Ensure labor spend is within the corporate-provided labor budgets
Responsible for managing store profitability, meeting P&L targets
Responsible for cash handling/deposits including overages/shortages
Accountable for POS Overrides such as discounts, returns, etc.
Partner with cross-functional team members as needed to maintain store operations including, store technology, supply chain, repairs and maintenance, marketing, and visual merchandising
Responsible for inventory, cycle counts, and transfers
Qualifications:
6-8 years of experience in large big-box or specialty retailer
6-8 years of experience leading a team of associates
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively with minimal supervision
Positive attitude and ability to adjust as changes occur
Demonstrated ability to develop relationships across cross-functional teams
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Not Required, but Preferable:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and 6+ years of relevant experience
Mobile industry or consumer electronics retail experience is strongly preferred
