Samsung Electronics America and 2020 Companies have partnered to hire an experienced Full-Time Associate Manager within the retail space. 

 

Samsung Stores are an interactive and fun product theater designed to treat shoppers to an immersive experience with Samsung’s products and services. At a Samsung Experience Store, we want customers to learn by experiencing Samsung products first-hand while receiving world-class service and sales experience.

As an Associate Manager, you are responsible for driving sales and the customer experience. You are empathetic and composed, setting the pace and energy for all customers. You have an entrepreneurial spirit and treat each customer like they are your last. You would also be accountable for handling cash, bank deposits and POS register processes and procedures.  In addition, the Manager will be accountable for all inventory counts and reconciliation. 

Some of your day-to-day tasks:

Accountable for the overall locations customer experienceResponsible for coaching all associates in the location on all sales behaviors, promotions and operational processesManage the back of house inventory team and all BOH processes and proceduresConduct daily and weekly asset cycle counts and reconcile all variances weeklyCreate action plans as needed to reduce any shrink in the locationAccountable for locations cash handling including overages/shortagesEnsure all bank deposits are completedResponsible to ensure labor spend is within the issued Samsung provide labor budgetsManage locations time cards, lunch compliance and associate availabilitiesResponsible for collaboration with Samsung managers on scheduling in KronosAccountable for Alarming/Disarming building; including responding to alarm calls off hours

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university2-4 years of experience in large big box or specialty retailer1-2 years of experience leading a team of associates1-2 years of inventory or visual merchandising experienceMobile industry or consumer electronics retail experience strongly preferredTechnical Knowledge: Proficient in Android HardwareWork nights, weekend, and holidaysVideo interview within 24 hours of screeningBackground checkThis position and potential offer of employment is contingent on your compliance with the customer’s requirement that all employees in this position be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, subject to our accommodation review process

Not Required, but Preferable:

Retail and mall experience a plus.Bilingual (Chinese/Korean/Spanish) speaking a plus

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Business degree preferredPrior exceptional retail sales and customer care experienceUp to a year prior sales, promotion, retail, telecom or marketing experienceExperienced in sourcing, recruiting, onboarding and trainingCloud-based computer systems (Salesforce, iCIMS, FSM+, etc.)MS Office and WindowsCreative, strategic and analytical thinkerDemonstrated knowledge of products and servicesExcellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skillsImpeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfactionAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environmentWork retail and occasional weekend hours
