SANCTIONS ANALYST
(ONSITE - BALTIMORE)
Qualifications:
+ 1-3 Years of sanctions experience
+ Must have experience with OFAC/Sanctions, 314a, Adverse Media or Politically Exposed Persons
+ Strong analytical skills
+ Excellent written and verbal communications skills, attention to detail and strong time management skills
+ Excellent judgment, initiative and adherence to deadlines
+ Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with branch and business unit personnel in a mature and professional manner and apply feedback on work product from supervisor(s)
+ Candidate should be a highly responsive team player who can think independently
+ Must be able to maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment
Job Overview:
+ Performing analysis and due diligence on results from OFAC/Sanctions, 314a, Adverse Media and Politically Exposed Persons (“PEP”) and other watchlist screening of customer accounts according to Firm’s policy and procedures.
+ Analyze output of OFAC/Sanctions, negative news, PEP and other applicable watchlist screening and make decisions on appropriate action to take.
+ Support in the review of payment exceptions (Wires, Checks, ACH etc.) generated from watch list alerts, including evaluating and analyzing payments to determine approval, rejection or the need for further investigation.
+ Analyze, investigate, resolve and document potentially suspicious transactions or exceptions.
+ Conduct open-source research and due diligence, including searches in external and internal databases.
+ Support any special projects or critical casework.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
