**Job Title: Sandblast Operator** **Job Description** As a Sandblast Operator, you will be responsible for removing carbon wicks and excess silicon from products using manual and automated sandblasting equipment. Your role will involve loading products, operating sandblasting machines, and visually inspecting surface finishes to ensure the completion of the sandblast process. You will also prepare surfaces to sandblast serial numbers into products and manage the operation of several automated sandblasting machines simultaneously. **Responsibilities** + Remove carbon wicks and excess silicon from products using manual sandblasting equipment. + Load products and operate sandblasting machines, which may involve attaching products to fixtures. + Manage the operation of several automated sandblasting machines simultaneously. + Visually inspect the surface finish of products to determine the completion of the sandblast process. + Prepare surfaces to sandblast serial numbers into products using manual sandblast machines. + Set up and operate both manual and automatic equipment for sanding, powder coating, grinding, polishing, and deburring. **Essential Skills** + 6 months to 1 year of sandblasting experience. + Experience with SiC and Silica Sand Blasting Machines, Manual and Auto Blast cabinets, Electric and Air powered hand grinders, Dremels, various sanding tools, and measuring instruments. + Understanding of basic shop math and safety processes. + Familiarity with measuring instruments, abrasive tooling, materials, drawings, machine functions, and controls. + Ability to follow processes correctly to avoid returning products for defects or breakage. + Ability to measure, examine, and test completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in production line finishing roles. + Capability to operate manual and automatic equipment for various finishing processes. **Why Work Here?** Immediate eligibility for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
