NO late nights, and we are CLOSED on Sundays! **Summary of Position** Prepare a variety of products including chicken salads, pimento cheese, side salads, soups, sauces, cookies, desserts, and other food products using a variety of equipment and utensils. Strict adherence to CSC standards for recipes, Speed of Service (SOS) goals and products is required and must maintain kitchen cleanliness/sanitation standards. **Requirements and Responsibilities:** We are looking for applicants who exhibit the following qualities: + Consistency and Reliability + Cheerful and Positive Attitude + Values Teamwork + Loves Serving and Helping Others + Essential job functions require maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, reaching/lifting arms above head, and standing and/or walking for prolonged periods of time + Must be able to lift 25 – 50 lbs. **We ask you to:** + Adhere to Brand Standards for uniform appearance and personal grooming. + Complete duties on opening and closing prep and checklists. + Refer to Daily Prep List at the start of each shift for assigned duties. + Prepare a variety of food products including chicken salads, pimento cheese, side salads, soups, sauces, cookies, desserts, and other items for cooking/serving to Guest according to CSC recipe and product standards. + Understand and comply consistently with CSC standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures. + Prepare all Guest orders with strict adherence to CSC standards for quality, portioning and appearance standards. + Prepare all Guest orders adhering to CSC SOS goals. + Prepare all food products in accordance with CSC portion sizes and recipe specifications. + Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation including tables, shelves, walls, steamer, sandwich line, and refrigeration equipment. + Close the line kitchen properly, following the closing checklist for line kitchen and assists others in closing the kitchen. + Attend all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement. + Promptly report equipment and food quality problems to Management. + Inform Management immediately of product shortages. + Use our Standard Recipe Cards for preparing all products. + Perform other related duties as assigned by the Management. Applicants will also be expected to be able to work on their feet for several hours at a time and lift potentially heavy objects when necessary. Prior experience is preferred, but not necessary.
