The Sanitation Technician position is responsible for a variety of tasks including cleaning equipment and production areas while following all safety regulations and ensuring all GMP and quality standards are met. Responsibilities also include plant housekeeping/janitorial task which will include maintaining cleanliness of the common areas, Silo and rigid bin cleaning, interior blasting tasks and hygienic restoration events.
You Will:
Clean, sanitize and inspect production equipment and areasObtain all necessary tools to clean in place (e.g., chemicals, utensils)Assemble/disassemble equipmentRinse and clean all conveyors, rollers & hoppers with high pressure hosesClean and rinse drains in assigned areasClean, rinse, and sanitize all tools and utensilsRemove all excess water, grease, and other materialsPerform general housekeeping in common areas: restrooms, breakrooms, conference rooms, bathroomFollow LOTO procedures & be LOTO certifiedKnow of GMP's and plant safetyUnderstand damage/lossKnow 5s principles / Support CPS programsKnow of chemical awareness MSDSAvailable for overtime / Flex schedule around production timesYou Have:1+ years of experience - ideal1+ years of experience - idealKnowledge of GMPs and safety - idealThe ability to understand the basic machine operations and settingsPhysical-Lifting and Carrying: negligible pounds occasionally up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds to pull or lay objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position requiring the use of upper extremities and back muscles.Push or Pulling: using extremities to exert force to push, pull, draw, drag, haul, or tug objects exerting a negligible amount of force always, up to 10 pounds frequently.#LI-Onsite
