**Job Title: Sanitation Associate**
**Job Description**
We are seeking dedicated Sanitation Associates to maintain the integrity of product safety and quality in a food manufacturing facility. This position requires maintaining a high level of cleanliness and sanitation. The shift for this role is from 2 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
**Responsibilities**
+ Comply with all relevant laws and regulations for safety and quality, including lockout tag out, GMP, HACCP, and Allergen policies.
+ Maintain work area and equipment in clean, sanitary, and orderly conditions.
+ Perform general industrial cleaning in production areas.
+ Operate cleaning equipment to maintain floors throughout the building and production areas.
+ Empty all waste containers and replace bags.
+ Clean and disinfect washrooms, locker rooms, and lunchrooms.
+ Wash and dust walls, equipment, tanks, ceiling light fixtures, and ceiling vents.
+ Report any defective materials, spills, or cleaning issues to supervisors.
+ Occasionally fill pails for production or assist in other production utility operator activities.
+ Perform other duties as requested, assigned, or directed.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is a food manufacturing facility with temperature variations, including hot (up to 105°F) and cold (down to 68°F) conditions. One side of the facility is dedicated to manufacturing operations, while the other side focuses on chocolate cooling and packaging. Safety and hygiene are prioritized, with employees required to wear uniforms, steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, hair nets, beard nets, and other safety gear specific to their work activity. The company complies with all relevant safety and quality laws and regulations, including GMP, HACCP, and Allergen policies. Employees must be able to train on day shift (5 AM - 1:30 PM, Monday to Friday), with training duration dependent on the contractor's progress.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Union City, California.
