**Job Posting: Cleaning & Sanitation Technician** **Location: Manassas, VA** **Job Description:** - We are hiring a **Cleaning & Sanitation Technician** for our local client in Manassas, VA. This **3-month temp-to-hire** role is essential in maintaining the production equipment and facility in a clean and sanitary state. The ideal candidate will perform cleaning and sanitation duties, following Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOP) and other safety protocols. **Responsibilities:** · Perform day-to-day cleaning and sanitation of production machinery, equipment, and facility. · Clean and sanitize conveyor belts, screens, filters, kettles, pipes, walls, totes, and sanding/oiling drums. · Maintain facility housekeeping, including plant exterior. · Handle cleaning chemicals safely and effectively, adhering to safety precautions. · Remove and dispose of waste and recycling efficiently. · Document cleaning and sanitation activities and maintain accurate records. · Prioritize cleaning tasks to support production schedules. · Use ATP bioluminescence devices to verify cleaning effectiveness. · Troubleshoot cleaning issues and implement solutions. · Adhere to GMP, SOP, SSOP, HACCP, and FQP standards. · Read and follow safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. · Participate in training to ensure compliance and effectiveness. · Perform additional duties as assigned. **Qualifications, Education and Experience:** · High school diploma or GED. · Previous experience in cleaning, sanitation, or related roles preferred. **Skills:** · Ability to handle chemicals safely and follow detailed safety guidelines. · Proficient in reading and interpreting safety rules and procedural manuals. · Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot cleaning issues. · Ability to prioritize tasks to meet production needs. **Work Environment:** · Exposure to cleaning chemicals, moving machinery, and production noise. · Regular physical activity, including standing, bending, lifting, and moving up to 40 lbs (occasionally up to 1000 lbs. with assistance). **Position Details:** · **Pay Rate:** $ 20.90/hour · **Schedule:** 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM · **Rotating Shift:** 4 days on, 3 days off; 3 days on, 4 days off.
