Job Description:We seek a results-driven Sanitation Manager to lead the comprehensive sanitation program for a large-scale production facility, including the plant, warehouse, and surrounding grounds. This role focuses on ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory standards compliance while optimizing sanitation processes and promoting a culture of excellence. Responsibilities:• Oversee plant sanitation operations to meet stringent food safety standards and regulatory requirements. • Develop, implement, and monitor sanitation protocols, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal guidelines. • Manage third-party sanitation service providers, ensuring compliance with contract terms and performance expectations. • Conduct risk assessments, identify sanitation improvement opportunities, and prioritize corrective actions. • Maintain and update the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) to ensure all scheduled tasks are completed effectively. • Prepare and present sanitation performance reports and documentation to plant leadership. • Ensure proper implementation of safety procedures, including lockout/tagout protocols, during sanitation activities. Qualifications and Requirements:• Proven experience in sanitation management within a food manufacturing in pork or beef.• In-depth knowledge of HACCP principles and sanitation best practices. • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to conduct detailed facility inspections and risk assessments. • Proficiency in documenting and communicating sanitation processes and results. • Familiarity with sanitation equipment, chemical handling, and safety procedures. Benefits and Perks:• Competitive base salary of $87k–$95k, commensurate with experience. • Comprehensive health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. • Opportunities for advancement and professional development. Your New Organization:Join an industry leader committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
