We are looking for a Sanitation Manager to join our Food Safety Quality & Regulatory Affairs team in either Chicago, IL or Omaha, NE. You will travel approximately 70% of the time to assigned facilities. This is not a remote role.
You will be onsite at one of the corporate locations when you are not traveling.
As the Sanitation Manager, reporting to the Sanitation Director, you will oversee the enterprise's sanitation and pest control operations as part of the Consumer Foods Sanitation team. Additionally, you will manage the corporate plant sanitation support function.
What you'll do in this role:
Support plant sanitation using chemicals, COP and CIP cleaning processes, dry sanitation methods, environmental sanitation, and sanitary design principles.
Implement and manage programs for sanitation assurance, pest control, and regulatory compliance.
Establish and maintain standards for CIP equipment, sanitation assurance, preventive maintenance, continuous improvements, and cost optimization.
Oversee and validate sanitation cycle times, extended cleaning requests, chemical cost reduction, and sanitation assurance programs.
Investigate and troubleshoot sanitation issues causing product contamination, reduced shelf-life, or customer rejection.
Collaborate and train with third-party providers, enhance technical expertise, research new cleaning technologies, and conduct Enterprise-wide training for plant sanitation leaders.
Champion a positive food safety culture, takes ownership, and empowers others to take immediate action on matters concerning food safety.

What you'll need to be successful:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent sanitation certifications and years of experience.
5+ years of food industrial experience in food sanitation
FDA, USDA, HACCP, Pest Control and experience with government regulatory requirements in the processing of food
Experience with sanitary design, sanitation and pest management in food processing.
Excellent knowledge of food manufacturing processes and food safety
Advanced knowledge in using a full range of statistical and analytical tools and fundamentals
Understanding of microbiological organisms and their impact on process design, sanitary design and sanitation.

Compensation:
Pay Range:$104,000-$152,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
