What You'll Do

As a Sanitation Operator at our site, you’ll be responsible for maintaining plant cleanliness and sanitation operations. We’ll rely on you to exceed company and industry standards as you sanitize work equipment, floors, railings, and bathrooms. You’ll be asked to complete day-by-day checklists and report any findings to the manager. Worked with chemicals and sanitizing agents before? Great! You’ll be the go-to person for cleaning practices, sanitation tools, and equipment.

What You'll Need To Be Successful

Physical Requirements/Conditions:
•  Ability to kneel, bend, squat, carry, reach, stand, grip, push, pull, arm extensions and perform elevated work
•  Ability to work in hot, cold or wet environments 
•  Ability to lift 50 pounds continuously
•  Ability to continuously stand/walk up to 8-12 hours
•  Ability to climb stairs or ladder

Minimum Requirements:
•  High school diploma or equivalent.
•  Previous experience in janitorial or sanitation work preferred, but not required.
•  Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
•  Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
•  Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
•  Excellent organizational & communication skills
•  Ability to read, write, and communicate in English at a level to facilitate the understanding of the terminology of the job
•  Basic computer experience
•  Ability to comprehend and follow written and/or verbal procedures or instructions
•  Flexibility to work various shifts as needed including nights, weekends.
