Our client, located in Elk Grove Village, IL is seeking a Sanitation Supervisor to join their team. This is a temp to hire opportunity; 2nd shift 1:30pm-10pm available; Tues-Sat $27 hourly rate. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Sanitation Supervisor within a manufacturing environment which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title: Sanitation Supervisor** **Location: Elk Grove Village, IL** **Pay Range: $27** **What’s the Job?** • Inspecting the manufacturing process to determine sanitation protocols. • Own facility sanitation program. • Ensure overall success of sanitation program to meet food safety and quality requirements. • Provide guidance on sanitary design of equipment and facilities. • Work closely with other departments to improve sanitation performance indicators (start-ups, microbial monitoring etc.) • Provide support during facility audits. • Implement master sanitation schedule. • Schedule deep cleans as needed. • Develop a working relationship with chemical suppliers to improve sanitation performance indicators and manage costs. • Coordinate and monitor cleaning schedules to ensure coverage for nights, weekends, and holidays with on-call capability as needed. • Coordinating the services of contractors and external cleaning crews. **What’s Needed?** • Some level of post-secondary education in food science or a similar field preferred but not required. • Previous experience as a sanitation supervisor or lead preferred. • Extensive knowledge of the food and beverage industry. • PCQI and/or HACCP certification • Pest control training. **What’s in it for me?** Room for growth Great company to work for Overtime available If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
