**Job Title: Sanitation Supervisor (3rd Shift)** **Job Description** The Sanitation Supervisor position is responsible for all activities related to sanitation in our packaging environment. This supervisor plays a pivotal role in establishing and documenting a formal, fully compliant sanitation program. **Responsibilities** + Oversee all sanitation activities in the packaging environment. + Establish and document a compliant sanitation program. + Manage and supervise a team to ensure all sanitation tasks are completed effectively. + Coordinate scheduling and organization of cleaning duties. + Train staff on safety and sanitation requirements. + Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements. + Positively motivate the team and administer discipline if necessary. + Troubleshoot mechanical and physical problems as needed. + Develop and maintain effective working relationships with management and staff. **Essential Skills** + Industrial Food Grade Sanitation experience (3+ years). + Previous experience in bakery and deli manufacturing sanitation, CIP systems, food safety, and food manufacturing regulatory requirements. + Previous leadership experience (1+ years). + Experience in managing or supervising a sanitation team. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus. + Experience in scheduling and organizing teams. + Ability to work independently with the crew on night shifts. + Experience in cleaning, janitorial duties, housekeeping, food manufacturing, food production, and sanitizing. + Strong problem-solving and communication skills. + Organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities. + Ability to interact with management and lead staff. + Working knowledge of English and basic math. **Why Work Here?** We offer a comprehensive benefits package including company uniform and PPE, 401k, Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, and PTO. There is exposure to chemicals such as chlorine and product fumes from onions, peppers, and other vegetables. The department consists of 10-13 employees. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Benton Harbor, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
