Job Summary:
\nThe Sanitation Supervisor will be responsible for leading the implementation and execution of the Sanitation and throughout the manufacturing facility. The Sanitation Supervisor will work alongside QA, Operations, and Maintenance to help implement and facilitate sanitation practices across the plant. The role will provide leadership, industrial best practices and direction to the entire facility and serve as a technical liaison between departments. The role will maintain a positive work environment and ensure compliance with food safety and employee safety standards. The role will also be responsible for the development, validation and implementation of sanitation practices including SSOPs and cleaning practices, selection & use of cleaning chemicals, and the delivery of training materials.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
\n\nProgressive sanitation supervision experience in an FDA or USDA regulated food manufacturing facility is preferred.\nCombination of wet and dry sanitation leadership experience in driving a robust and sustainable sanitation program in food manufacturing is required.\nLeadership ability to effectively lead direct (sanitation) and indirect (operations) crews to complete assigned sanitation tasks.\nInstills a culture of accountability within the sanitation team.\nDemonstrates strong problem-solving skills including root cause analysis, risk assessment and corrective action.\nProven ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure is required.\nProven ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment is required.\nHACCP and Internal Auditor certificates are preferred.\nFlexible to work weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed.\nProven ability to communicate effectively, appropriately, and respectfully with each member of the organization is required.\nAbility to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs; ability to lead others through change.\nKnowledge of sanitation processes and procedures is required.\n\nEducation & Experience:
\n\nBachelor of Science degree in Food Science, Food Microbiology Biology or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nThree-Five (3-5) years of experience in food manufacturing with at least three years in food sanitation required.\nKnowledge of the GMP, HACCP and Environmental sanitation program is preferred.\nBilingual in English/Spanish preferred. \n\nWe embrace equal opportunity employment.
