Shift: This role is 3rd Shift, 10:30 PM-7:00 AM

Hourly Rate: $20.65 an hour

Job Summary:

The Sanitation position is responsible for a variety of responsibilities including cleaning equipment and production areas promptly while following all safety regulations and ensuring all GMP and quality standards are met. This position is third shift. You will work with several cleaning chemicals, work environment can be hot or cold. You will work with high pressure equipment. You will report to the Sanitation Team Leader. You will work on site in the Council Bluffs facility.

Compensation:

Starting pay up to $20.65 per hour + $0.70 Attendance Bonus.

Location

You will be onsite at the facility located in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Rotations between departments can occur based on production needs.

Essential Job Functions:

Work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for positionFollow instructionWork individually along with teamworkMove up to 50 poundsWork in extreme environments and from heights

Job Responsibilities:

Clean, sanitize and inspect production equipment and areas promptlyObtain all necessary tools to clean in place (e.g., chemicals, utensils)Assemble/disassemble equipmentRinse and clean all conveyors, rollers, hoppers with high pressure hosesClean and rinse drains in assigned areasClean, rinse, and sanitize all tools and utensilsRemove all excess water, grease, and other materialsPerform general housekeeping in accordance to 5sFollow LOTO procedures

Skills Required:

Knowledge of GMP's and plant safetyWill be LOTO certifiedUnderstanding of damage/lossKnowledge of 5s principlesKnowledge of chemical awareness MSDS

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or GED

Experience Required: Minimum 3 months production or related experience
