Job Description
The Sanitation Technician will follow the master sanitation record and perform sanitation duties according to SSOP, documenting all activities to ensure the highest standards of food safety, quality, and compliance. This role involves working closely with stork operators and monitoring the CIP (Clean in Place) System. The technician will use sanitation chemicals, including caustic, detergents, and acids, which are self-contained in the system.
ResponsibilitiesFollow the Master Sanitation Schedule and perform tasks such as cleaning walls, floors, ceilings, air vents, lights, overhead piping, and exterior surfaces of equipment used in the preparation, packaging, and transferring of products.Work with sanitation chemicals including caustic, detergents, and acids.Monitor the CIP (Clean in Place) System.Document all sanitation activities to ensure compliance with SSOP.Essential Skills1 or more years of experience in a food manufacturing or GMP environment.Knowledge of sanitation practices in the food industry.Familiarity with GMP, FDA, HACCP, SQF, and BRC standards.Additional Skills & Qualifications1 year of sanitation or blending experience is preferred.1 year of manufacturing experience is preferred.
Work Environment
This position is within a food manufacturing environment that can be hot, cold, and wet at times. The facility promotes a good team culture and offers internal advancement opportunities. The shift for this position is the 1st shift from 8am-4pm, Friday-Sunday (weekends).
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00
