Job Title: Sanitation Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Sanitation Technician to join our team at a large industrial concrete and cement terminal. The facility operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The successful candidate will perform maintenance and janitorial services in office spaces, business office lobbies, locker rooms, shower facilities, production areas, and the grounds. This role requires working independently in a fast-paced environment and maintaining professionalism around other employees.

ResponsibilitiesPerform cleaning tasks in office spaces, lobbies, locker rooms, shower facilities, production areas, and the grounds.Use high-powered cleaning equipment such as power washers.Inspect and repair heavy machinery or equipment as needed.Report to the worksite 15 minutes prior to shift time and discuss action items with the supervisor.Work independently and occasionally in teams to complete assigned duties.Maintain cleanliness in all areas, including hallways, staircases, and elevators, even if not specifically assigned.Adhere to safety regulations and follow instructions.Essential Skills1-2 years of cleaning experience in an industrial or commercial setting.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Experience using power washers and other cleaning tools.Physical strength and stamina to perform repetitive motions and lift up to 50 lbs.High attention to detail and ability to communicate progress.Ability to operate machinery and follow safety instructions.Additional Skills & QualificationsTeam player mindset.Willingness to work overtime.Customer service skills to work around office and production staff.Good attendance record and ability to maintain it.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This is an industrial environment with a staff of 4-6 full-time cleaners reporting to the Facility Manager. The facility includes over 150 employees and operates 24/7. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with occasional overtime. Flexibility is offered for parents needing to accommodate school schedules. Candidates should be prepared to work outside and in non-climate-controlled areas, alongside operators and in locker rooms and group showers.
