Job Title: Sanitation Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Sanitation Technician to join our team at a concrete and cement terminal. This role involves performing maintenance and janitorial services in a large industrial work site that operates 24/7. The ideal candidate should have experience in industrial or commercial cleaning, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in using a power washer.

ResponsibilitiesClean office spaces, business office lobbies, locker rooms, shower facilities, production areas, and the grounds.Report to the worksite 15 minutes prior to shift time and discuss daily action items with the supervisor.Work independently and occasionally team up with others.Clean assigned areas, primarily the 2nd floor, and ensure cleanliness in all areas including hallways, staircases, and elevators.Perform basic cleaning tasks and more intensive work such as inspecting and repairing heavy machinery or equipment.Operate special high-powered cleaning equipment, including power washers.Essential Skills1-2 years of experience in industrial or commercial cleaning.Ability to work overtime as needed.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Experience using power washers, mops, brooms, leaf blowers, shovels, push brooms, and other cleaning tools.Physical strength and stamina to stand for long periods, bend, stoop, crouch, lean, and reach.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and team lift objects over 50 lbs.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This role is based in an industrial environment with a staff of 4-6 full-time cleaners. The terminal operates 24/7, and the 1st shift runs Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with occasional overtime. The facility includes office spaces, locker rooms, and large group showers. Candidates will work alongside operators and may be required to work outside. Flexibility is offered for those needing to manage personal responsibilities, such as getting children on/off the bus. Candidates should be prepared for varying climate conditions and be open to working overtime as needed.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00
