**Job Title: Sanitation Technician** **Job Description** We are looking for a sanitation technician to join our team at a large industrial concrete and cement terminal. The terminal operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The candidate will perform maintenance and janitorial services, including cleaning office spaces, business office lobbies, locker rooms, shower facilities, production areas, and the grounds. This role requires the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, often around other employees, and maintain professionalism. **Responsibilities** + Clean office spaces, business office lobbies, locker rooms, shower facilities, production areas, and grounds. + Use a power washer and other cleaning tools such as mops, brooms, leaf blowers, shovels, and push brooms. + Report to the worksite 15 minutes prior to shift time and discuss daily action items with the supervisor. + Work independently and occasionally team up with others. + Ensure cleanliness of the second floor and clean any debris or clutter in hallways, staircases, and elevators. + Inspect and repair heavy machinery or equipment as needed. + Operate special high-powered cleaning equipment. + Follow instructions and safety regulations. **Essential Skills** + 1-2 years of cleaning experience in an industrial or commercial setting. + Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. + Proficiency in using a power washer. + Physical strength and stamina to stand for long periods, bend, stoop, crouch, lean, and reach. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and team lift objects heavier than 50 lbs. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Team player. + Willingness to work overtime. + Experience with various cleaning tools and equipment. + Ability to communicate progress on cleaning tasks. + High attention to detail. + Good customer service skills and ability to work around office and production staff. + Good attendance record and ability to maintain good attendance. **Why Work Here?** You will enjoy a stable work environment with consistent hours and a long-term contract. You will report to the Facility Manager and work alongside over 150 employees. The facility operates around the clock, and the shift is Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with occasional overtime. Flexibility is offered for parents who need to get kids on/off the bus. Overtime opportunities are available but not guaranteed. Work conditions include cleaning outside on the grounds, locker rooms, and large group showers. Some areas are not climate-controlled. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Ravena, New York. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
