Position Overview & Responsibilities: \n
This position is responsible to supervise staff on rotating shifts to ensure all live haul equipment is washed in accordance with safety, quality and bio-security requirements to meet transportation deadlines. This position would have a main location that you will be based out of and travel to provide additional support and training at our other Trailer Washes located throughout the Midwest.\n
Major Areas of Accountability:\n\nOversee staff on shift to ensure efficiency, quality, bio-security and safety standards are met.\nAssist Trailer Wash Manager with prioritizing and scheduling trailer wash activity and appropriate labor.\nTrain new employees and coach existing employees \nAssist with washing and disinfecting of live haul and other equipment as needed.\nReport problems or concerns with quality, processes, equipment, materials and labor to Trailer Wash Manager\nIdentify and support continuous improvement efforts.\nComplete required recording and documentation relating to business or regulatory requirements.\nAssist Trailer Wash Manager to ensure execution of all wash functions as per SOP.\nResponsible for routine\/preventative facility tasks such as yard work, laundry and supply replenishment as needed.\nPerform light duty maintenance on the facility, equipment or trailers as needed and communicate any issues to the Trailer Wash Manager.\nCommunicate with Trailer Wash Manager and Bio Dri\/Inspection Lead to ensure quality, safety, bio-security and deadline requirements are met.\nSuggest, plan, and implement agreed upon process improvements and safety best practices.\nFunctions as a back up to the Bio Dri\/Final Inspection Lead.\nFunctions as a back up to the Trailer Wash Manager.\n\n

Specialized or Motorized Equipment and\/or Tools:\n
This position will require operating a company vehicle, or occasional mileage reimbursement. Any employment offer for this position is contingent upon the review of your motor vehicle record (MVR). The MVR will be reviewed to determine insurability based on CFF's insurance carrier and company policy.\n
