**Job Title: Sanitation Worker** **Job Description** We are currently hiring within the sanitation department for a variety of shifts. Employees will clean machinery and disassemble and reassemble certain parts of the machine to meet the necessary standards. A mechanical aptitude is needed, and lock out tag out experience is highly preferred. Ideal candidates have done this exact type of work before but we are flexible to consider machine operators and sanitation candidates with strong mechanical aptitude. Candidates must be comfortable with heights/ladders to clean conveyors and with the cleaning products/chemicals used, as some have a strong odor. Orientation is every Thursday at 8:30 AM and Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM (weekend day shift can expect to stay until 7 PM on Friday and work the weekend). **Hard Skills** + Sanitize and clean production areas with chemicals and cleaning tools + Evaluate sanitation effectiveness + Complete pre-operational inspections of equipment + Follow LOTO procedures + Disassemble, clean, and sanitize food-processing equipment + Maintain plant cleanliness + Coordinate supplies, equipment, and contractor support + Log and record daily chemical usage + Train employees in sanitation procedures + Use Powered Industrial Trucks with proper training + Perform simple mathematical calculations **Soft Skills** + Work independently + Communicate well with others + Attention to safety + Foster a team atmosphere + Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in York, Pennsylvania. **Work Environment** Non-climate control (hot) environment, loud, GMP environment: hair and beard nets required, as well as other GMP practices. **About Aerotek:** We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
