Sanitation Worker

Summary:   

As the Sanitation Worker, you will maintain a high level of Food Safety and Product Quality through the cleaning and sanitation of food processing equipment, utensils, and facility.

The Sanitation Schedule is Monday through Thursday from 10:00 PM until around 6:30 AM and Friday from 6:00 PM until around 4:00 AM.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain cleaning and sanitation in accordance with the company Master Sanitation ProgramUtilize chemicals and cleaning agents to clean and sanitize processing area walls, floor, and equipmentUtilize refuse and sanitation tools in a proper and safe mannerRemoval of debris from processing areaCommunicate chemicals supply levels to managementObserve and record facility conditions to ensure all areas are within company and regulatory specificationsVerify the adequacy of cleaning and sanitation performed on areas and equipment and complete and sign off on appropriate formsDocument actions taken in response to unsatisfactory observations on Equipment, Utensils, and/or Process Area conditionsComplete testing when applicableMaintain plant safetyMaintain and proper use of equipmentWork independently with minimal supervisionProvide back up support for other duties as neededBecome certified as an electric pallet jack and forklift operatorPerform other duties as assigned

Physical requirements: 

Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50/100 pounds

What You Bring to Pacific Seafood:

Preferred

Experience with the utilization of sanitation tools and chemicals, food safety, and the safe operation of fork lifts and powered pallet jacks

Salary Range: $18.50 Hourly
