As a Sanitation Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities maintain a clean and sanitary environment. Your duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Responsibilities:
Performing routine cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting, to maintain cleanliness in various areas of the facility, including production areas, restrooms, offices, and break rooms. Follows rules and regulations to ensure food safety, quality, and legality. Disposing of waste and recyclable materials in accordance with company procedures and environmental regulations. Operating cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, and pressure washers, safely and effectively. Following established sanitation protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with food safety standards (if applicable). Completion of all necessary reports, logs, and documentation as to the result of shift and departmental activities Assisting with inventory management by organizing and maintaining cleaning supplies and equipment. Notifying management of any maintenance or repair issues that may affect sanitation standards or safety.Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in janitorial or sanitation work preferred, but not required. Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
