**Job Title: Sanitation Worker** **Job Description** The Sanitation Worker is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the production facility and equipment according to food safety guidelines. The role involves dismantling and reassembling production equipment for cleaning, using chemicals in proper concentration, and maintaining proper labeling and storage of all chemicals. Responsibilities also include disconnecting machinery power sources for repair, removing garbage from the building, and transporting it to the dumpster. The Sanitation Worker must follow company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices while maintaining the housekeeping of the production plant and warehouse. **Responsibilities** + Clean and sanitize the production facility and equipment according to food safety guidelines. + Dismantle and reassemble production equipment for cleaning. + Use chemicals in proper concentration according to company guidelines. + Properly label and maintain all chemicals. + Disconnect machinery power source for repair. + Remove garbage from the building and transport it to the dumpster. + Follow company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices. + Maintain housekeeping of the production plant and warehouse. **Essential Skills** + Experience in cleaning and sanitizing production facilities. + Knowledge of food safety guidelines. + Ability to dismantle and reassemble production equipment. + Proficiency in using and maintaining chemicals. + Adherence to company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Comfortable working 6 days a week, including every Saturday. + Able to work in a cold environment (40 degrees). **Why Work Here?** This opportunity offers contractors the potential for direct placement after 90 days. The company provides hair nets, gowns, gloves (two kinds because of the cold), and boots (one size fits all, which may fit big). **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of VISTA, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
