Position Summary

Follows an established cleaning schedule, performs a variety of janitorial duties to maintain distribution center building and grounds to meet QCD and customer standards for appearance, cleanliness, and safety.

 

$21.00/HRMust be flexible to work AM and PM shiftsMust be flexible to work weekends and holidays Responsibilities

General Responsibilities/Essential Job Functions:

 

Keep warehouse floor clean, using both manual and electric-powered equipmentMaintain cleanliness of parking lot, shipping/receiving docks, and fence lineCollect waste material for both recycling and disposalMaintain cleanliness of leaker boards in both the dry and chill areasMaintain cleanliness of break room to standardOrganize and stock supply cabinets for the break room, restrooms, and locker roomsIn support of the above functions, may be assigned basic tasks related to facility maintenancePerforms other related and assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications

Qualifications Required of this Position:

Licensed fork lift operator with a minimum of six months of safe operation of material handling equipment.  Knowledge of sanitation and janitorial concepts and techniques, ability to work independently. Possess reading and basic math skills.  Physically capable of standing, walking, and twisting while carrying up to 50 lbs. objects. HS Diploma or equivalent required.
