Title of role: Sanitizer

The Sanitizer role is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all compounding-related equipment (including portables, containers and drums) and machinery in a safe, clean and efficient manner, ensuring that first pass quality goods are produced to meet customer service levels while reducing costs.  Additionally, transfer product between various vessels and perform various other support roles to compounders as assigned.

Base Pay Rate:  $22.67, paid weekly, shift premium of $1.00 for working 3rd shift

What You’ll Do:

Clean and sanitize compounding equipment and facilities utilizing proper GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), including portables and COP  drumsCoordinate with washroom to have portables, pumps, totes, and other parts clean and sanitized within limited time to keep production lines running.Weigh and record full and empty portables/totes on scale.Transfer product to vessels in a clean and sanitary manner per SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and in such a fashion as to not affect product quality.Responsible for delivering samples of product from the Mixing Tanks and Portables/Totes to the Lab.Handle waste streams generated in compounding and dispose of per SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures).

What You’ll Need To Succeed

High School Diploma or GED preferred.2 Years working in manufacturing preferred.Experience using Walkies, CIP System, and portable/drum cleaning equipment.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Must be able to stoop, reach, sit or stand for up to 8 hours. Lifting abilities may exceed 100 lbs. on occasion with assistance.Must have the ability of Reading and Comprehension, Writing and Mathematics.  This will support recording of data and general teamwork skills with emphasis on good communication.IT Skills – competent in the use of Microsoft Office; Excel, Word and SAP program is preferred.
