SAP and Financial Systems Administration Analyst

 

We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP and Financial Systems Administration Analyst to join our dynamic team. The SAP and Financial Systems Administration Analyst will be responsible for managing and maintaining SAP systems, ensuring data accuracy, and optimizing financial processes. This role involves troubleshooting, user support, system enhancements, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, SAP expertise, and a background in finance or accounting. This is an on-site position and will require the candidate to work full-time from one of our offices. Those locations are Galveston, TX; Springfield, MO; and Glenmont, NY. 

 

What You’ll Do

 

•    Work with the team’s request queue and perform daily administrative duties.
•    Ensure service requests are complete and accurate, adhering to the defined enterprise service-level agreements.
•    Carry out functions needed to accomplish key performance indicators (KPIs)
•    Maintain documentation supporting the standard operating procedures for the team.
•    Responsible for enforcing the enterprise’s controls for the systems the team administers. 
•    Collaborate with business users and other teams at all levels within the organization to ensure compliance with enterprise security policies and guidelines. 
•    Serve as the subject matter expert on applications and platforms managed by the team and act as a mentor to team members and a liaison to other business areas. 
•    Work with business users and teams to perform upgrades and implementations; collaborate with technical teams, seeking buy-in where needed.
•    Works with GRC, Internal Audit, and business teams to complete access reviews and both external and internal audits. 

 

What You’ll Need

 

•    Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance, or related field
•    Four to six years of experience with SAP Administration (Six or more years of similar experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor’s degree)
•    Demonstrated ability to plan and facilitate both remote and in-person meetings effectively and efficiently
•    Experience in one or more areas of insurance operations
•    Experience in information technology operations, specifically with large, complex systems in mid-to-large-sized organizations
•    Experience working with application security concepts, concepts of access management, and financial or accounting concepts.
