The SAP Applications Developer is responsible for supporting and delivering new capabilities across all SAP modules. The role will work closely with both SAP functional and technical teams delivering new solutions in ABAP, Fiori, OData, UI5, etc. The Applications Developer will assist in implementing SAP S/4 replacing SAP ECC. The ideal candidate will have strong front-end development skills with BTP, UI5 and Fiori. The candidate should be eager to learn new technologies, stay updated on frameworks and IT trends, and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

Primary focus on the technical aspects of SAP including system configuration, process and code analysis, and development. Serves as Technical Lead for SAP development work stream within a technology projects. May have multiple projects simultaneously. Leads project segments for small to mid-size projects. Responsible for performance tuning and developing objects that adhere to performance standards. Direct analysis of SAP for trends or performance patterns which could be improved through a Continuous Improvement initiative. Be curious and creatively look for opportunities to leverage innovative technology as well as optimize processes and methodologies. Actively participate or lead project meetings, prepare agenda, objectives, and facilitate. Drive effective communication with a variety of groups, including cross functional Provide detailed status updates to designated PM. Ensure delivery of all project tasks as needed, in partnership with PM and leads. Schedule meetings, manage participants, organize deliverables, etc. Drive project timeline planning in partnership with PM and Leads. Includes, detail by work stream, vendor work packages, and duration estimates. Facilitate translation of functional requirements to high level technical scope and design. Create supporting technical documents, provide development estimates, initial risk and mitigation recommendations. Contribute content or develop presentations on technical scope or design. Initiate and lead peer reviews

Qualifications

5-7 years of development experience A team player with good communication and collaboration skills Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple enhancements or projects

Must have:

Experience with at least 2 SAP Solutions / technologies: ABAP on SAP HANA, RAP, SAP UI5, BTP, Java Script Experience with at least 2 of the popular programming languages: SQL, C, C++, JAVA, PythonEtc. Experience with BADIs, user exits, APIs, etc. Familiarity working with Eclipse / Visual Studio Code Development Experience with SAP Modules SD, MM, FI, CO Knowledge of Cloud Architecture and SAAS / PAAS Solutions

Desired:

Development Experience with SAP Modules: EH&S, PLM, CAR Knowledge of CI/CD principles and adoption in SAP solutions Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in technology

Salary Range: 92K-120K
