SAP Architect (PM, MM, or QM)
Description We are in search of a SAP Architect (PM, MM, or QM) to join our team in the energy industry, located in Houston, Texas. This role involves leading the technical design of integrated SAP solutions, optimizing business processes, and staying at the forefront of SAP technologies. Responsibilities: • Oversee the technical design and integration of SAP solutions for Procure to Pay (MM), Plant Maintenance (PM), and Quality Management (QM). • Design tailored solutions for specific requirements within the LNG industry, including asset tracking and regulatory compliance. • Take charge of technical implementation projects such as system configuration and data migration. • Utilize SAP and BTP workflow capabilities to automate business processes and enhance operational efficiency. • Customize SAP and non-SAP reporting tools to provide real-time insights into financial and operational performance. • Stay updated with emerging trends in SAP technologies, including S/4HANA Cloud, BTP, and SAP Fiori. • Collaborate with the SAP Application Management Support (AMS) team to implement required configuration changes. • Work with cross-functional teams in other SAP modules or non-SAP solutions within the LNG business. • Ensure compliance with change control procedures for on-going changes, enhancements, and projects. • Provide technical leadership and guidance to SAP functional and technical teams. • Mentor junior SAP consultants on technical best practices. Requirements • Must have a deep understanding of SAP PM, MM, and QM modules • Proficiency in S/4HANA and SAP S/4HANA is required • Extensive experience in implementing and managing SAP solutions in an Energy/Natural Resources industry setting • Demonstrated ability to architect and map business requirements to SAP processes • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team • Good understanding of SAP MM - Materials Management • Demonstrated ability to stay updated with the latest developments in SAP technologies • Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
