Job Description Day to Day: Insight Global is looking for a SAP Basis Administrator to support one of our clients out of Chennai, India. 50% of this role will be dedicated to production support including analysis, troubleshooting, and escalations when needed while the other 50% will be focusing on new projects including installations of new versions of SAP functions and keeping up to date on product launches. This position requires one to report onsite 50% of the month. System Administration: Manage and maintain SAP S/4HANA systems, including installation, configuration, and upgrades. Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability. Database Management: Administer HANA databases, including backup and recovery, patching, and performance tuning. Security Management: Implement and manage security protocols, user roles, and authorizations. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to SAP Basis and HANA environments. Transport Management: Oversee the transport management system (CTS/TMS) for efficient change management. Collaboration: Work closely with functional teams, developers, and other stakeholders to support business processes and projects. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and best practices. Compensation: $10/hr to $15/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
