Job Description:

The SAP Basis Administrator  is responsible of the design, development & deployment, and the proper operations of SAP Platform solutions he/she has been assigned to within a Global and Regional scope. This role is also SAP Basis accountable for the platform of a specific set of applications or a subset of application, being dependent on the size or complexity of them.

What are we looking for?

Bachelors/master’s degree or equivalent in business or IT discipline

Experience/Certifications on DevOps and agile methodologies is a plus.

IT Background

5+ years of experience in SAP Basis operations/projects including, but not limited to SAP S/4HANA, ERP, BW, SCM, CFIN, PaPM.

Experience in IT infrastructure or IT application project or operations, with good ability to influence and interact with people, located remotely and across the globe.

Experience with Databases (Oracle, HANA, SQL Server) and OS (Linux RedHat / Windows 2k16 and above).

Experience with solutions in Cloud (IaaS and PaaS) (preferrable Azure).

Experience in troubleshooting and performance tunning.

English: fluent.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Work in project activities such as designing and implementing new systems, upgrading current ones, and setting up our environments to attend new demands.

Interact with customers to understand their requirements and identify the proper configuration/solution to attend their needs.

Run Proof of Concepts to evaluate new technologies and capabilities that can be adopted bringing value to Mars, documenting the outcomes and creating standards for future implementation.

Collaborate with the architecture and security community to design solutions in accordance with the Mars Standards and Applications SLAs.

Perform Capacity Planning and Performance Tunning analysis on our critical systems to ensure.

Define infrastructure requirements and interact with other infrastructure team to proper setup/configure new components.

Contribute with Operations team to evaluate pain points for running systems and look for opportunities that can eliminate or minimize them.

Work in automation initiatives to reduce manual effort in deployment and operations.

Agree with operations team on CIPs implementation plan.
