· Subject Matter Expertise areas in a large global enterprise environments, relational databases and SAP Architecture/Design.
· Excellent leadership/interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical subjects to non technical audiences.
· Strong ability to clearly document system design elements including use of appropriate documentation tools
Roles/Responsibilities:
· Work with project teams and the IT architecture group to evaluate business requirements and engineer SAP Solutions.
· Analyze and approve final designs of changes to the environment before implementation
· Ensure that approved architectural standards developed by the Database and SAP BASIS group are maintained as changes are designed.
· Make recommendations regarding Database and SAP BASIS technologies that will add value to business projects
· Evaluate Database and SAP BASIS new technology recommendations proposed by the strategic sourcing partner.
· Coordinate the Database and SAP BASIS environmental needs across regions and platforms with other project SME's for a consistent and coordinated environment.
· Collaborate with the Project Engineering and Infrastructure Delivery groups to assist in infrastructure design for application development projects.
Education:
· BS in technology, engineering, or relevant field.
