Position Description:
Flowserve is seeking the best and the brightest to join its team of IT Analysts. We are seeking a skilled SAP BODS Developer with approximately 4 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data integration and data management using SAP Business Objects Data Services. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data solutions that meet business needs and improve data quality.
Overall responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using SAP BODS to ensure seamless data integration across various sources and targetsCreate and manage data transformation workflows to cleanse, standardize, and enrich data to support business processesImplement and maintain data quality checks and transformations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of dataOptimize ETL processes and workflows to enhance performance and efficiency. Should have strong knowledge on SCD 1 SCD2 and SCD3Work closely with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data solutions that meet business objectivesIdentify and resolve issues related to data integration and transformation processes, ensuring minimal disruption to operationsAdhere to best practices for data management and ETL processes, ensuring compliance with data governance policiesPosition Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science or related discipline with an information technology focus4+ years of experience working in SAP Business Objects Data ServicesProficiency in designing and developing ETL workflows, data transformation, and data cleansing using SAP BODSStrong SAP HANA and SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and queryingUnderstanding of data warehousing concepts and data quality managementStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve data integration issuesAbility to work independently and as a team when required once requirements are provided and to work efficiently with technical and non-technical stakeholdersMust have excellent data analytical and interpretation skillsProblem solving mindset and attention to detailShould be motivate and self-directedExcellent analytical and communication skills (oral and written)Job Posting/Business Card Title: Programmer Analyst - Staff
