Position Overview:
Our client recently implemented SAP BPC for business planning needs and processes. They are looking for a mid-level developer who can automate new business needs and support existing functionality. Candidate must possess a Bachelor degree; Masters is a plus Essential Job Functions:Document business requirements, and analyze requirements with usersTranslate business requirements in to solution requirements and specificationsDiscuss solution options with usersDetermine the integration needed with other systems to solve the business needsDesign and develop the necessary models, cubes, input-forms, business process flows, VB macros, reports, BADIs and data interfaces from BWDevelop mechanisms to transform and load data from BW in to BPCEnhance existing system functionality and resolve production issuesDevelop/update test cases for the solutionDevelop/update user guides for the functionality developedDocument solution design and how the solution is to be usedMaintain user roles and authorizations in the system; and perform other administrative activities. Educational Qualifications and Experience:Education: Bachelor's degree is a must;Further education in Financial planning or Accounting is a plusRole Specific Experience: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in automating business planning processes that includes two of any of the following planning processes a) Budget formulation b) Revenue/Expense c) Staff cost planning d) Activity planning and e) Capital investment planning. Certification Requirements:SAP certifications is a plusRequired Skills/Abilities:Candidate should have development experience in minimum two of any of the following planning processes a) Budget formulation b) Revenue/Expense c) Staff cost planning d) Activity planning and e) Capital investment planningMust be skilled in gathering and translating business requirements in to solution specificationsHands-on experience in designing Dimensions, Models, input-forms, reports, business process flows, workflows for business needs conforming to the product standardsAbility to maintain and configure environmentAbility to create custom data manager packagesAbility to configure currency conversion business rulesAbility to prepare good test casesAbility to write macros in BPC reports and input formsAbility to create user manuals and impart training to business and admin usersAbility to perform and configure SPRO Parameters for Environment and Application LevelAbility to design and configure transformation and conversion filesAbility to develop, test and debug BADIsAbility to design and configure roles and authorizationsAbility to enable self-service capabilities in BPC and train users on the samePerform system administrative functions in BPC and train users on activities appropriate to themProper knowledge of the SAP FI, FM and CO objects, structures, data sources and flowsDesired Skills/Abilities (not required but a plus):Head count management in PeopleSoftDevelopment of BW reportsManaging requirements and test cases in HP Application Life-cycle Management (HP ALM)Retraction to ECCExtraction from ECC. Experience Matrix for Levels: 2.
