You will work as part of the Global SAP Centre of Excellence and develop/implement business solutions based on user requirements analysis into the cloud environement. You will report to the SAP COE DEV BTP DELIVERY Lead and will be based at UOA Shah Alam.

Main Responsibilities

You need broad expertise across the SAP Cloud Domain with skills in different technologies such as CAP (Cloud Application Programming), RAP ( RestFull Abap Programming), performance Tuning, OData knowledge. You have also some expertise in Fiori, UI5, Fiori elementsKnowlegdes in administration domain is also main elements for this position. Sub account management , connectivity, BTP services management (SAP CI/CD, Pipelines, Workflow,…)Propose, program or configure, document and Unit test business solutions according to the functional and technical requirements adhering to SAP standard and our PPG Coding standards as closely as possibleYou will liaise remotely with several your colleagues across the globe but will be based alongside other SAP Consultants in the Technology Centre in MalaysiaWithin a matrix organization you will report to Global SAP CoE BTP Stream LeadYou will be proactive in building excellent working relationships with both your IT colleagues and functional/business stakeholdersYou will need to be a self-starter who can quickly develop good understanding of our S/4 system (On Prem system) and our BTP environement (within 1 – 3 months)You will be required potentially to work on our backend systems linked to EMEA, USCA and APAC regions for supporting any emergencyYou will evaluate the x-stream impact of any solutions proposed and ensure that SAP coding standards are followed

Qualifications

Excellent English oral and written communication skills, including technical writingExcellent level of remote communication and autonomyMin 2 years’ experience in Cloud development with strong experience in SAP Cloud developmentPlayed a developer role in numerous SAP BTP projectsWe need you to be an outstanding self-starter with a commitment to delivering high-quality work in pressurized environmentsBe comfortable working independently in a “remote working” organizationDegree in Information Management, Computer ScienceExperience using SAP Solution Manager toolset for managing changes, transports and incidents would be advantageousParticipation in SAP Cloud implementation

Your knowledge of SAP must include:

CAP and RAP developing modelsJava languageFiori, UI5, Fiori elementsCDS views : Creation, Update of CDS views. Exposure of them as ODATA services.You are capable to perform some administrative activities from BTP perspective (Sub Account management, BTP services setup, Pipelines configuration, Git repository…)
