SAP Business Process Specialist
Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

The position is required to increase the level of system knowledge and application within the organization for SAP and additional technical business solutions. The primary role of an SAP Business Process Specialist is to be a system and process expert in designated area that identifies and tests new system functionality.This includes the development and delivery of training materials to make the organization effective in utilizing global technical solutions. You will also interface with other SAP Business Process Specialist to understand system changes and the impact to the end-to-end processes.

Responsibilities:

Subject Matter Expert

Be the expert user within assigned responsibility and support the users within the organizationEvaluate system functionality against processes and identify associated change requests that are required to meet the business needsAudit users in designated areas to ensure the team is following work instructions and identify opportunities for trainingEvaluate change requests and enhancements raised from other units, business transformation experts, or other SAP Business Process Specialist and determine and communicate the impact on the designated area and outline necessary actionsCollaborate with retrofit team during delivery waves where significant system and process changes are delivered to gain adequate understanding and deliver proper end user training to insure smooth retrofit of new functionality

System Functionality

Test new system functionality and corrections to current system functionality; Some support and test responsibilities will be outside normal business hoursWork with team to troubleshoot system issues and determine if incident needs to be opened in SNOWTrack all known incidents and changes in respective areas; Escalate to Retrofit Coordinator as appropriateIdentify and document the test cases for assigned responsibilityAct as primary interface to Digital Business Solutions (DBS) team to ensure clear understanding between business and technical teams on incidents and changes

Training

Develop training material to support the SAP functionality and processes for the assigned area of responsibilityReview and modify training materials that can be used for classroom training or LMS modules in close alignment with DBS solution team leads to minimize duplicate efforts and maintain consistency between local and template training materialsEnsure that all work instructions for assigned area are updated to reflect the most current functionalityDeliver classroom and virtual training to the impacted employees

Other

Perform daily function of assigned areas on a regular, consistent basisCollaborate with other Lead SAP Business Process Specialist to identify cross functional impacts and requirementsLiaison with other units / users to arrange on site visits to gain operational expertiseSupport other units / users during Go-Live and Hypercare periodsOther duties as assignedWhat You Need to Succeed

Education, Experience & Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or closely related discipline is preferred; or a minimum of five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Proven ability to direct others in a multitasking environment.Demonstrable track record of employee development and mentoring activities.Strong customer service, analytical, and reasoning skills. Better than average written and communication skills required.Significant experience with ERP and/or CRM systems; SAP preferred.Must be a self-starter who will identify problems and initiate corrective actions without specific direction from supervisor.Strong ability to interface with other departments and teams in a professional and cooperative manner.
