SAP Consultant
Kearney and Company is seeking an SAP Consultant to join our team to provide operation and maintenance support and assist with planning, configuration management and implementation of functional and technical enhancements for a clients existing Federal SAP Financial System. We are looking for an experienced SAP Consultant with expertise in FI, FM, CO, MM, Asset Management and/or other relevant SAP module functionality and configuration support. Experience with S/4 HANA including supporting the migration of an existing Federal SAP solution to S/4 HANA is preferred. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), to identify, analyze and translate business requirements into technical solutions • Support cross functional teams to include changes in the requirements, functional and technical configuration, and solution testing • Support the migration of the current SAP solution to S/4 HANA as a technical resource • Manage change and service requests to ensure timely production of quality product as per requirements • Identify and manage project risks and identifying the need for configuration management, as needed • Support testing of software functionality and design concepts • Provide functional expertise, guidance, and instruction on SAP processes to the client • Implement new or maintain existing business solution in SAP specific module based on user requirements analysis • Strong communication and teamwork skills Qualifications • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent • Minimum 4 years of experience working with different functional and technical teams to support existing systems and implementations of requirements and testing • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and lead a workstream • Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills • Expertise in methodology, documentation, configuration applications, testing, and user training • Experience with Federal SAP financial system implementations, including at least one full lifecycle implementation • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions while identifying gaps and associated business processes • Ability to obtain a U.S. secret level security clearance (requires U.S. Citizenship) Preferred Qualifications • Prior experience with SAP S/4 HANA migration • Understanding of Federal accounting processes including budgeting and funds management processes • Experience on interfaces and data integrations between financial systems • Demonstrated critical thinking ability • SAP certification is a plus KCO1701 #LI-Remote Overview Exclusively focused on the Government, Kearney & Company provides financial services, including auditing, consulting, and technology services. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
