The SAP Controlling and Project Systems position will be part of the Digital Technology – Digital Business Solutions (DBS) organization at Collins Aerospace and recognized as an IT professional with good hands-on experience in SAP Controlling (CO) and Project Systems (PS) functionality, configuration with knowledge and technical expertise in business and technical applications who analyzes and determines how to fulfill business IT needs. Analyzes system capabilities and configures and resolves system functionality issues.

** This individual can sit at any Collins domestic location or remote. **

What YOU will do:

Work approved enhancement requests from the business; tasks include design, configuration, development, test, and creation of training material

Support break/fix tickets and questions from the business in the following areas: CCA, PCA, PC including GPD, CO-PA, PS, RA, and RAR

Provide estimates to program management for approved projects

Identify and work system operation improvements

Work with cross-functional groups to complete large production enhancement projects

Support month-end / year-end activity

Field complex CO related questions from the business including the analysis of pegging errors and unsettled cost at month-end

Collaborates with application development teams to resolve system functionality issues.

Works with Security/Compliance, Infrastructure, and Project Management Groups to manage and document the digital technology solutions

Work with the ABAP development and interface teams

Assist users with reporting in BW and Business Objects

Qualifications you must have:

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position (U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder).

Typically requires University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience

Preferred 5 years working experience in IT or SAP | CO and Project Systems. 

Configuration experience in SAP CO/PS modules and handling production support issues.

Minimum of 7 years working experience in SAP | CO.  Configuration experience in the following areas is required: Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Project Systems & Results Analysis, RAR and GPD

Production support experience. 

Strong knowledge of financial accounting, cost management and the Aerospace and Defense industry.

Must be okay with 10% travel.

Must have an active passport.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
