Material Management Platform is multi-year modernization initiative aimed at transforming Ford’s Material Requirement Planning & Inventory Management capabilities to modern ecosystem. This is part of a larger Industrial Systems IT Transformation effort. This position responsibility of S/4 HANA Advanced Planning (ePPDS) and iPPE within Production Planning module. This is a hybrid position, and the SAP ePPDS/iPPE Functional Lead will play integral role in leading the design, configurations, implementation, and different aspects of the end-to-end delivery. Work with large cross-functional team, Systems Integrator, manufacturing business subject matter experts, and IT leads from numerous integrating systems.
This is a hybrid position and will collaborate with colleagues and teams in our Dearborn, MI office.
Qualifications
Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, information technology or a technology related field Minimum 13+ years of functional experience in SAP Production Planning Module. Minimum 5+ years of experience in S4 HANA ePPDS and iPPE. Hands-on experience on configurations and design ePPDS and iPPE Repetitive Manufacturing. Deep knowledge of end-to-end SAP Implementation: explore, designing, system integration testing, UAT, and post Go-live support. Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field SAP PP integration with other modules MM, IM, QM, Controlling Experience in integrating with upstream/downstream systems like PLM, MDM, Order fulfillment etc… ABAP debugging experience. Strong project management skills using JIRA with effective communication and collaboration Knowledge and practical experience of agile delivery Support in an onshore/offshore model Demonstrated ability to deliver product roadmap milestones.

Responsibilities
Understand the current business process across all regions / plants for Material Requirements Planning. Lead discussion with various stakeholders to study the transformation of current process / legacy systems to Industry best standards / technology/ systems focusing on SAP Production Planning module including ePPDS and iPPE functionalities. Lead and perform Requirements Gathering, Business Analysis, and Fit-Gap/ Fit-to-Standard Analysis to understand the as-is/to-be states and identify key functionalities /process gaps. Recommend possible technology / process solutions to address gaps. Support user acceptant testing, cutover activities, data migration, and Post Go-Live support. Hands on experience in configuration and customizing S/4 HANA ePPDS and iPPE. Strong knowledge in Product Heuristics, Planning Table, Model Mix Planning, Sequencing, Detailed Scheduling Board, Pegging, takt-based scheduling, Product/Resource/Location Master data integration. Product Data Structure (PDS) transfer from S4 HANA to PPDS, Strong knowledge on building the iPPE structure for complex product configuration, Master Data objects Product Structure, Process Structure, Factory Layout, Production Version, Component Variants, Dependencies, Deep knowledge on how Engineering Change Management (ECN) and Variant Configuration used within iPPE . Plan material requirements with Rapid Planning Matrix (RPM) MES integration with Planned Orders and Production Confirmations. Work closely with management to prioritize business goals and information needs. Stay current on SAP trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
