Kforce has an exciting opportunity for a client in downtown Houston, TX that is seeking an SAP Functional Analyst I. This is a contract to hire position and is a hybrid role with three days a week onsite. Responsibilities: * Responsible for full life cycle implementation of SAP EAM, from business requirements gathering through conducting business workshops, including gap analysis, blueprinting, design, configuration, testing, cutover, data migration, go-live, training, and post go-live support * Contribute to the implementation and execution of the SAP EAM/Plant Maintenance processes: asses current state, identify customer requirements and define future state and/or business solution * Transform detailed requirements into complete detailed systems design documents and implement in SAP * Capture business capability requirements, functional requirements, and expected service levels from business unit; Create EAM solutions that map to an actionable business-IT roadmap (a long-range plan for the business that identifies specific IT investments in applications and infrastructure to support business objectives) * Support BU leadership in identifying opportunities for emerging technologies, through collaboration with EAM architect, to enable business strategies * Provide an advisory role with the clients on the impact of new technologies on their existing technical and information system environments * Ensure business and functional requirements are maintained throughout the development/configuration process * Maintain strong understanding of technology needs and solutions for the business units * Liaison between the client, vendors, project management and the technical team on questions, issues, and revisions to the solution architecture * Manage engagement risk and economics including planning and budgeting; Manage accounts receivable; Define deliverable content; Ensure buy-in of proposed solutions from business owners
