Summary: GAF is seeking a Functional Consultant/Architect to provide governance, guidance, architecture, and design across enterprise-wide Supply Chain Management (SCM) for SAP, Logistics FMS and Warehouse Management Systems. The Supply Chain Management Functional consultant will plan, design, and support the ongoing implementation of SAP and provide sustainable IT and business system solutions to support current and future operations. This role will work with SCM Order-to-Cash for SAP, Warehouse and Logistics Management Systems, and Business IT teams to optimize processes and systems to drive business and technical improvements, system automation, continuous improvement, and other duties associated with GAF systems. In addition, the Functional consultant will work closely with IT project managers and business stakeholders all through the implementation cycle during build, testing & Deployment phases, and partner with GAF operations in creating business value through new product introductions and process improvements while maintaining alignment with GAF architectural frameworks.

Providing Functional consultant/Architect level SAP SCM technical guidance and delivery on large complex projectsEstablishing or modifying strategy, standards and procedures for SAP SCM integration, configuration, and implementationAssisting in the development of SAP technical roadmaps while keeping up-to-date with emerging technologiesResponsible for the overall systems architecture, technical and functional design for SAP SCM, and Warehouse & Logistics Management system to design and deploy integrated end-to-end solutions.Analyze requirements from a business and systems perspective by interpreting business goals and objectives and translating them into technical solutions.Develop and improve the design of SAP SCM architectural framework, including primary application and related applications and systemsUnderstand integration between SAP SCM and other enterprise systems to articulate and offer sustainable and scalable architectural solutionsUnderstand business process improvement in enterprise applications.Understand and transform business requirements into scalable/manageable solution architecture and design specifications.Develop POC’s to evaluate new technologies and solutions.Knowledge of troubleshooting scalability issues

Participate in the delivery of custom solutions that follow GAFs standard Agile process.Ensure the development team adheres to GAF design and development patterns and standards.Maintain and enhance integration solutions, including off-hours support of business-critical business solutions.Ensure proper response and resolution to issues and errors.Provide mentoring on advanced development concepts and technical capabilities to developers.

Minimum 7 years experience in design, implementation and support of SAP Supply Chain Management solutions with SAP IBP or PPDS experience.Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or relevant experience.Minimum 5 years of experience within SAP S4 Source to pay or manufacturing processCollaborate with other functional and technical teams on business needs, information, applications, and long-term plans while helping to ensure integration with strategic solutions.Deep understanding of product development, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain processes.Partner with Warehouse Operations in creating business value through new product introductions and process improvements while maintaining alignment with the architectural frameworkDocument architecture and standards for development tools, technologies, libraries, and frameworks and ensure they are consistently followedDrive the adoption and standardization of software architecture, development, and SDLC across global WMS/FMS development teamsProactively identify and recommend technologies and standards to improve the effectiveness of WMS/FMS development processes and/or to develop an architectural roadmapIdentify improvement opportunities (e.g. architectural, performance, maintainability, security, scalability, reusability, etc.) and drive solution implementation
